The drive up was kinda fun, I discovered cruise control. I also learned its legal to undertake, so driving really does become like you do it on the Playstation. Hwuhahaha.<\/p>\n<p>Client meetings went well. Food at Zaza&#8217;s was spectacularly good and I rediscovered Robert Palmer (and WTF is with &#8220;Auto Volume&#8221; in the car?) and discovered valet parking. Rah.<\/p>\n<p>So tonight I&#8217;m in an Embassy Suites hotel (owner known, room free&#8230;) which is nice. Big double room room, 2 TVs and a kitchenette. The wireless access is odd, I can only get it to work with Linux and once again I didn&#8217;t have to pay for it (you&#8217;d think these days they would work out how to ensure people pay).<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I have 2 TVs to watch, enjoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, so I&#8217;m now in Dallas.
