We moved colos at work on Friday. Oh the fun. 48hours notice! Most things went fine but some of the rails were a pitch to resize. Ended up working Saturday morning to debug\/fix some services. Its all working now I think and the bonus is not having to deal with MCI in the UK ever again! Rah \ud83d\ude42 (they are incompetent fools as a collective – some individuals are really good, but sadly they are not the norm).<\/p>\n
Tidied the flat somewhat, built paddington (mini-itx adsl router\/firewall) and failed to sort my clothes out. I need to before I head off to Sri Lanka on Tuesday. Bah.<\/p>\n
Annoyance of the weekend was at 3.45am on Sunday when some twat would not stop pressing my entry buzzer. I ignored it at first but after 5 minutes of continual pressing I got up to see who it was. Me “Hello?”, them “Who’s that”, “Good bloody question who are you?”, “Where’s Tom?”, “You’ve got the wrong fucking flat you twat. Now piss off!”. I then hear the downstairs buzzer go and doors opening. I’m going to label the buzzers better since my neighbours friends all seam to have an IQ lower than the average Bristolian.<\/p>\n
