Dragon, Les Gets – Canceled.

Bummer. This weekends Dragon Downhill race in Les Gets (yes, thats in France) has been canceled. Apparently even though Jason (the race organiser) sorted things with the Mayor in January he and the tourist office are now saying no. They did say they would let Jason hold the race with only 130 riders and only on the lower half of the course but Jason said no, and fair play to him for it. Its a shame, Jason has taken a round of the Dragon to France for the last three years (always in Metabief before) and there are a lot of riders out there especially for the race. I couldn’t go, since I’m on call with Andy being on honeymoon, but I’m still gutted for those out there (sorry Bob!).
