Liars! Damn Cane Creek

Hmm,Cane Creek claim that their S2 headset has a stack height of 26mm. This, added to the 146mm headstock length on my Heckler should provide a 172mm total height at the front end, allowing me to fit a Maverick DUC32, but no. When you actually get the vernier calipers out the stack height on the S2 is 28.6mm. Arse. Thankfully my LBS are understanding people and are happy to se if they can reduce the headtube by a few mill with some sort of cutting/grinding device. But bastard Cane Creek for lying!
