Earlier this week I purchased 3 inner tubes for 5quid. I thought I needed some more ‘cos I couldn’t immediately find a new one to replace the flat one in my Camelback. Today, whilst tidying up my flat and moving things around, I discovered 12, yes, 12 inner tubes. One is dead (big rip), 3 need patching, 3 seam OK and 5 are brand new! Add that to the 3 I bought and I think I’m okay for inner tubes… !!!

For a while, whenever Owen and I went to Sainsbury’s we thought “hmm, maybe we need a can of tuna” and bought one and put it in the cupboard. Sometimes we ate them in sandwiches or on baked potatoes. One day I wondered if we had any tuna and looked through the cupboard, I was greatly amused to find 15 tins of the stuff hidden away in corners. It took months to finish them!
At the moment we have many onions through the same mismanagement however, they tend to attempt to take root in our cupboard and cause general consternation.
