I have voluntarily locked myself out of eBay for a while. It is just to damn tempting to buy stuff that I need, no really I do. Whilst ebay is great ‘cos I sold my 2 year old layback seatpost and got a new straight one for no cost, its bad because I didn’t need a set of 4 mini pliers, or a 12 piece micro screwdriver set, even though I did need them… Anyway, no eBay for me for a while, honest!

How does one lock oneself out?

I have a similar problem. I had a phase of buying far too many obsolete computers. I think I’ve got it under control now, though.
