Unfit Al!
Went over to Cwmcarn yesterday with Bob (sister) for a “quick loop” of the Cwmcarn XC trail and to have a play on the new freeride trail up on the top. Clearly I have not ridden a bike in too long and I must not do enough (any!) exercise in between.

Cheating commuter!
I was on the train after work in the way to the SO’s and I spotted this bike which amused me. The pic is a little blurred, but the chainstay sticker says “Team Single Speed” and on face value it looks like single speed bike, but… the extra cables attached to the rear brake boss…

Bloody Brakes
Once /again/ the brakes on my bike are fucked. Its ridiculous! Only three weekends riding on my rear brake since I totally resealed/bleed it and it is pulling to the bar again! Does no one make a bike disk brake I can’t kill in a month? Its really annoying! >:-(
